Our Mission

Global Impact Outreach (GIO), received 501(c)3 status October 24, 2014. At GIO, our mission is to create positive and lasting change in the lives of vulnerable communities around the world. We are committed to breaking the cycle of poverty and exploitation through education, empowerment, and advocacy. Our work encompasses providing affordable childhood education, empowering parents through job creation, and rescuing children from exploitative situations. We aim to foster long-term solutions and promote transparency, accountability, and prosperity, working towards a world where families stay together, every child has opportunities, and every community thrives.

Our Vision and Strategies for Change

Our long-term goals include delving into the deepest levels of the issues that enable these problems to persist. Currently, our focus is on the connection between impoverished child welfare departments and corruption at higher government levels. To address this, we are actively exploring methods to lift people out of the grinding poverty that allows corruption to continue.   We accelerate nonprofits creating jobs in agriculture and renewable energy.  Additionally, we are supporting nonprofits dedicated to educating children, instilling values that reject corruption when they come of voting age.

The Impact of Our Projects

Empowering Families

Transforming lives by creating job opportunities for parents, enabling them to send their children to school, and breaking the cycle of poverty.

Child Rescue

Rescuing and safeguarding vulnerable children from exploitation in scam orphanages while also protecting donors from falling victim to charity scams.

Anti-Corruption

Collaborating with local partners and organizations to research and combat corruption, while supporting anti-corruption initiatives to empower communities and protect donors.

Systemic Change

We \tackle complex issues like poverty, corruption, and education, We are commited to lifting people out of extreme poverty so they have the capacity to support good government officials.

Rwandan Childhood Education

  • We initiated our first projects with a focus on Rwandan childhood education.
  • We’re proud to share that, on average, we were able to educate a child for a semester for just $10, thanks to our efficient use of resources.
  • We recognized that the lack of parental income was a barrier to education, so we sought to foster long-term solutions, such as creating job opportunities for parents and breaking the cycle of poverty.

Scam Orphanage Shutdown & Child Rescue

  • We began discussions with End Poverty Now to launch the Child Rescue and Charity Guide projects.
  • These initiatives are close to our hearts, aiming to rescue children from exploitative orphanages while also protecting generous donors from potential scams.
  • After accepting these projects, we quickly identified and successfully shut down two scam orphanages.
  • We have rescued more than 30 children from exploitative situations, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • We have helped donors save or redirect thousands of dollars that were going to tricksters in Africa.

Building Relationships with Local Leaders

  • Upon accepting these projects, we dedicated the first three months to interviewing various stakeholders involved in addressing scam orphanages, uncovering the complexity of the issue.
  • We are proud to have nurtured strong relationships with crucial stakeholders, including local authorities, community leaders, and reputable orphanages.
  • These relationships are the cornerstone of our work, enhancing our effectiveness and impact.
